Advanced Network Devices Unveils MCVIPR at InfoComm 2026, Redefining Visual Alerting for IP Notification Systems
New multi-color visual indicator delivers simultaneous full-color display, graphical guidance, and indoor/outdoor versatility in a single network-integrated device
Arlington Heights, IL — June 17, 2026 — Advanced Network Devices (ANetD), a leader in IP-based communication and emergency notification solutions, today announced the MCVIPR (Multi-Color Visual Indicator Protocol Responder) at InfoComm 2026. The MCVIPR represents a fundamental advancement in visual alerting — moving beyond the single-color flash of traditional strobes to deliver a dynamic, simultaneous multi-color display, preset image capability, and directional guidance, all in one PoE+-powered device.
“ANetD has always pushed the boundaries of what is possible, it is our legacy. We solve problems that people have accepted as “good enough” for far too long. The MCVIPR creates solutions for directional egress and notification, providing a tool that can help our partners redefine or properly execute their plans. The ultimate flexibility, that meets the expected, but then goes far beyond!”

Beyond the Strobe
While multicolor visual indicators have begun to emerge in the market, existing solutions share a critical limitation: they flash one selected color at a time. The MCVIPR eliminates that constraint entirely by simultaneously communicating the nature of an emergency and guiding occupants to safety in a way no conventional strobe can. Designed with K-12 schools, universities, healthcare facilities, and large commercial campuses in mind, the MCVIPR supports Standard Response Protocol (SRP) color coding out of the box, while remaining fully customizable for any facility’s alerting needs.
Color and Guidance When It Matters Most
With access to over 16 million colors, the MCVIPR lets administrators instantly convey the type of emergency — no guesswork, no ambiguity. Occupants know what’s happening the moment an alert activates, because the color tells them. A built-in LED grid can display directional arrows, evacuation routes, and shelter-in-place symbols, turning a passive alerting device into an active guidance tool. When people need to know where to go, the MCVIPR shows them.
One Device, Any Environment
Rated for both indoor and outdoor use, the MCVIPR eliminates the need for separate products for different spaces. Whether it’s a school hallway, an outdoor courtyard, or a covered parking structure, one product covers it all — simplifying procurement, installation, and maintenance. The MCVIPR runs on existing network infrastructure and is powered over a single Ethernet cable — no additional wiring or power runs required. Flash patterns and alert behaviors are fully configurable, giving system designers flexibility without complexity. Multiple patents pending.
Availability
The MCVIPR is available and shipping in Q4 2026. For more information, visit anetd.com or stop by booth #N8357 at InfoComm 2026, North Hall.
